    Though the darkness, I sought for you When we first meet,
    I thought you’d only be a friend
    Through my loneliness, I longed for you Nothing more, nothing less
    Don’t you know.... But wasn’t’ right at all, I guess

    My heart longs for no one but you? We become closer because of your friends
    You started courting me and finally!
    Said, “YES”
    I don’t know why I couldn’t I thought I was only fooling around
    Just let you out of my mind But after sometime....
    There was something I felt inside
    I swear, I’m trying my best
    To stop this pain feels deep inside The feeling was hard to understand
    Maybe because I refuse to
    But as each day goes by
    Sometimes, I really feel stupid I realized that I was beginning to love
    you.
    Thinking somehow you’d come back
    But I know I’d have to face the fact We are able to build a relationship
    One that has gone through so many
    That thing will never again be right
    hardships
    I never thought it would last long,
    I wish I could bring back the past Well, I guess we were really strong.

    And try to make our relationship last Thing went right for a quiet time
    But now I know that it’s too late One I wished it would be for a lifetime
    But my wish didn’t come true, sad to say
    And all I have are all regrets. Maybe because we’re not really meant to
    be...
