V. Rationale:
Imagine a science garden that students and faculty show off with pride, not only because
of its beauty but because it enables a whole new set of learning experiences for students.
We can make this vision a reality at STA. FE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL with the initiating
effort of its school science coordinator and school head.

Our school has the potential to enhance student learning outside of the classroom as much
as it does inside. A well-developed science garden with its own perimeter fences and
entrance serves as a laboratory and outdoor classroom for subjects across the curriculum
right in our own school campus.

Sta. Fe National High school is attended by student with different level of environmental
awareness about the interdependence among the component of the environment the
living and non-living things. We would like to enrich our student in our school by creating a
well-developed science garden that brings students the learning experience with plants
and animal (Biotic) having a healthy relationship with the material in the environment
(Abiotic) in a so-called habitat. In the process, they can participate in activities that
increase science knowledge, sharpen their experimental skills, spur curiosity, and create
awareness about the environmental condition of the community and the country as well.
VI. Project Objectives:
This proposal aims to:
1. present the budget proposal in putting up a perimeter fence of
Science Garden.
2. put up a well-developed Science Garden.
VII. TARGET PARTICIPANTS:
 SFNHS Learners
 All teaching and non-teaching staff and support personnel
 Parents and the community
