MEMORANDUM
1. References:
a. CMC No. 08-2021 dated February 8, 2021 “Strengthening PNP’s Role
in the Prevention and Countering of Violent Extremism (P/CVE) through
the Salaam Police Center”; and
b. Memorandum from TDPCR dated June 20, 2023, with subject: above
2. This pertains to the annual celebration of the Islamic holiday known as Eid Al-
Adha 2023 (Feast of Sacrifice 2023) which is tentatively scheduled on June 28, 2023
(Wednesday). Eid Al-Adha reminds Muslims of the Prophet Abraham's absolute
obedience to God through the observance of this festivity. Traditionally, Eid Al-Adha is
celebrated with early morning prayer, slaughtering of animals, family gatherings, food
sharing, gift-giving, among others.
4. Further, you are enjoined to display a tarpaulin in your respective camps and
offices to show our solidarity with the Muslim communities in their celebration of the
Eid Al-Adha 2023 "Feast of Sacrifice" (The template for the tarpaulin can be
