1. OPERATIVE / FUNCTIONALITY

The objective of this procedure is to describe the different phases that are carried out in the process of identifying the garments that arrive
on hangers at the logistics platform.

☐ STEP 01

The first step in the good identification process in the GOH area begins when the operator
reviews the packing list to find out how many different items they expect to unload into each
truck and compare them to the actual delivery.

☐ STEP 02

Operators scan the barcode of the first garment so that the system identifies what type
(model/size/colour) of garments are going to be unloaded next. They will have to perform the
operation every time they change the item of the garment to be downloaded.
1
The DGC counter (2) will be in charge of counting how many garments are finally unloaded
2 from each model.

The download process can be monitored at any time on the operator screen (1). Finally, a
packing list of the items actually downloaded will be stored in the system.

☐ STEP 3

When garments are on slick rails after the unloading process, the operator groups manually
the equal garments into blocks (maximum 1.20 m) and places a barcode label (1) on the front
of each one.
1
Finally, the barcode label is scanned and the block is linked to the Warehouse Information
System (WIS), so each block of garments is now identified.

☐ STEP 04

Blocks will pass through the HGC (Tecnimusa) hanging clothes counter, in order to identify
how many equal clothes are finally in each block. This information will be linked with the
barcode that is read at the output of the HGC by a SICK (1) scanner.

On the operation screen (2) it is possible to see the result of the count.

☐ STEP 05 At RFID stations (J48SG) in group floor, the tags of each garment are read and encoded

using radio frequency technology (RFID) so that the system can identify each of the
garments that each block contains.

☐ STEP 06
The garments are managed individually in the sorting and packaging process, so it is
necessary to identify and locate them one by one.

For this, each garment will be hung on a roll adapter (1) that has a chip transponder with an
associated code that will be linked to the label that each garment also has. This coding is
1
done using radio frequency technology at the RFID station (A29GR) located on the second
floor.

There is an RFID adapter link device outside the station that will read the adapter that just
came out of the RFID station. It will supervise the linking of the garment code with the
adapter code, knowing its location at any given time.
