CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT BETWEEN MARLON GLANVILLE of 19 New St, Belize, owner of

Black and Sons (‘the employer’) and CAROLYN PRICE-WATSON of 28 Parliament Street, Belmopan

WHEREBY the employer and employee agree to the following terms and conditions:

1 EMPLOYEE’S JOB TITLE: Administrative assistant.

2 PLACE OF WORK: Black and Sons, offices, 23 Harbour View Belize City.

3 HOURS OF WORK: From 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday with one

hour for lunch and such additional hours may

reasonably be deemed to be necessary for the

execution of the job.

4 REMUNATION: US$ 980 per calendar month, payable in arrears.

5 JOB DESCRIPTION: See attached schedule 1.

6 DURATION OF CONTRACT: The contract shall be initially for a minimum period of

one year, commencing on the First Day of October 2011

and renewable yearly by mutual agreement.

7 HOLIDAYS: Four weeks’ paid leave per annum to be taken at a time

to be agreed as mutually convenient to both parties.

8 SICKNESS: The Employee is entitled to seven days’ paid sick leave

per annum and shall supply a medical certificate if

absent for a period of three days or longer.

9 GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE: In the event of a grievance the parties shall follow the

grievance procedure as set out in the Black and Sons

Employment Handbook 2007.

10 TERMINATION OF CONTRACT: This contract can be terminated by either party giving

one calendar month’s notice to the other in writing.
