 Tamil Nadu Women Achievers AwardsTM
is a non-governmental, voluntary and independent women empowerment umbrella established in
2018. It is an exclusive platform established with the sole purpose of recognizing & celebrating the spirit
of women in Tamil Nadu.

The ceremony was a global grandeur in itself. The event proved to be highly inspirational and
helped women from different fields to grow professional relations with each other. Through a
series of presentations the achievers’ stories were acknowledged, which, in turn, have proven to
build solidarity with a global appeal in the hearts of women all over the world.

TNWAA was a tribute to the most exceptional and inspiring women in Tamil Nadu who have not
only achieved success in their respective fields but have made a significant difference in their
communities and society as a whole.

Tamil Nadu Women Achievers AwardsTM, conducted on 8th march, 2021, received an
overwhelming response from the people. The pride and gratitude in the eyes of the awardees,
visible hope and aspiration in the eyes of the nominees, youngsters and audience reassured our
team that our efforts have achieved the zenith. This event is only the beginning of a hoard of
societal welfare measures we hold in our agenda for the upcoming days!

OBJECTIVE
We are passionately committed to develop a nexus of confident women
leaders by providing them with the world’s largest professional Women
Network.

We propose to build an online platform in which professionals, business women,

entrepreneurs, youngsters, etc., will have an exclusive online platform to interact with fellow
women, and thereby explore the sea of opportunities, brainstorm ideas, enhance mutual
economical and spiritual growth, and further, empower the entire sorority. Valuable
interactions, webinars and forum discussions by professionals make this the most
significant and preferred platform for networking.

We are elated to announce that through TNWAA we have embarked on this

journey of ours already, and have been successfully sailing towards the light.
Paramount initiatives in every respect mentioned above have been taken;
the fruits of it are palpable and are closer than ever!

 Mr. Aditya Paluri, CEO of The Brand Republic® envisioned a better
world where women would be acknowledged for their
contributions and celebrated for their glories. This meant that the
world should make way for women leaders and give them the
limelight they deserve.

Tamil Nadu Women Achievers Awards™ is a measure towards achieving

the above. Starkly differing from a regular award ceremony, the project
aims to propose various programmes and activities throughout the year,
all of which will contribute to empowerment and upliftment of women in
Tamilnadu. We believe in recognizing the achievers and encouraging
budding talents.

A group of young, thoughtful minds can change the world! The seed for the project was sown in The
Green Park Hotel, Chennai, where the core team of TNWAA met and gave shape to a vision. The core
team was a vibrant gang of individuals who were like-minded and conscientious. High goals, innovative
ideas, practical strategies, insightful policies and outlines were discussed.
Henceforth, the team embarked on a journey that would create history; a journey that will make
significant impacts on generations of women to come.

come across many passionate and wonderful women from various fields.
Getting associated with the honorable members of our jury panel has been an eye-opener.
Our dreams have evolved ever since, and have blossomed beautifully during and after the

JURY OF THE MEDALLION CONTEST
One of the noteworthy aspects of TNWAA was The Medallion Contest. This was a rare opportunity
offering spotlight to youngsters and glorifying the creative spirit of Tamilnadu. This is a platform
creating momentous opportunities and recognition exclusively for young creators.

Tamil Nadu Women Achievers Awards™ aimed to inspire the younger generation of Tamil Nadu,
through building a platform where young leaders can network with global minds and showcase their
innovative ideas in various fields. Entries were invited through our website and social media
platforms where aspiring minds competed and showcased their talents in various activities in ‘The
Medallion Contest’.

A common theme was given to the participants.
She has been the embodiment of confidence, courage and fortitude. She is not just the muse, but the
creator herself! She has been an integral part of history, polity and all facets of the society. She is
power and grace personified. Though she has been the quintessential stimulus, #Herstory has always
been under erasure. Aval aimed at bringing out creations about women, acknowledging and
celebrating the invincible spirit of womanhood.

Our proud associations with reputed people continued with the Jury members of The Medallion
Contest. The Medallion jury members were people who were well-accomplished in their respective
fields and hence were adepts in judging the youngsters’ entries. They were once there in the shoes of
the competitors. Once, they dared to dream big breaking all inhibitions. Now they go on to inspire
generations through their wonderful contributions.

We got a chance to get associated with people like Ms. Rathika Ramasamy, Wildlife photographer,
Ms. Gayathri Pushkar, Film Director, Ms. Rohini Mani, Painter/artist, Mr. Azhagiya Periyavan, Writer,
Ms. Chandra Thangaraj, Writer and Film Maker and Prof. Parveen Sultana, Writer, Orator,
educationalist, motivational speaker and Debator.

These people taught us to dream big. They made sure the people getting a chance to fulfil their
dreams through Medallion were the deserving and best among all.

Tamil Nadu Women Achievers Awards™ aims at becoming the most

prestigious & inspiring annual event, honoring women achievers
across 16 categories.
The best women’s award of the State, we made sure to recognize
noteworthy contributions of women from all fields of human
endeavor.
