How to make an aperture card

1 If you have a piece of plain card

into it, you will need a craft knife or
scalpel. First cut your chosen piece
of stiff card to size, score a line

How to make a patchwork cushion

1 Back your stitching with a piece of


medium-weight iron-on interfacing
and cut out. We also made some

a French knot, thread your needle with two
strands of orange cotton and bring your needle
up through the fabric. Twist the needle around
