Clinocoridae (Hem.).
Mr. H. Sauter sent fivo specimens of bed-bugs, which belong
tu two species of Clinocoris ( = Cimex auet), one of them presumably
boing new to science. Besides the Buropean bed-bug (0. lectularius),
whieh has become cosmopolitan, only two specios of Clinocoris are
known from the East: C. peristerae Roths, (1912) closely allied to
("•'. lectularius and colitmbarius, and Ü. hemiptera P. (1801).
We may except the genera Loxaspis and Gacodmus to be
represented on Pormosa. The species of Gacodmus are parasitic on
bats and aro ölten found in numbers in houses ia which bats aro
in the habit of roosting.
Clinocoris hemiptera P. (1801).
One S and two $$, Anping, 22. June 1911.
Tlio elytra and abdominal tergites are densely punetured. The
lateral margins of tho pronotum are not curved upwards.
Clinocoris nov, spec.V
Two 95, from the same place and date, differ from C. hemiptera
in the pronotum having a distinet narrow explanate margin and in
the elytra and abdominal tergites being sparsely punetured. The
specimens are not in very good condition, and it is advisaMe to
await further material (particulary of the male sex) before describing
the species.
Berichtigung.
In den Supplementa Entomologica SFr. 2, vom 1. Juni 1913, p. 117 habe
Studie, III. Teil: Die indo-australische Region (Ann. Mus. Nat. Hungar. IX,
1!(11, p, 78) beschrieben hat. Es muß also die Plecoptere einen anderen
Namen bekommen, und ich schlage Formosita vor. Fr. Klapälek.
