EVALUATION WEEK 5

1. Heidegger recognized the importance of the discovery process. You would never know the thrill
of travel if you could snap your fingers and be transported to any location in an instant. If you’re
learning consists solely of asking Google for an answer, you lose your ability to learn and
discover your own; this is the difference between shallow book smarts and street wisdom.

2. Heidegger, in my opinion, identifies that by using technological advancement, many things may
be discovered or revealed, resulting in something being questioned again or another discovery
for its development. Technology embodies a particular way of revealing the world, a revealing in
which humans assume control over reality.

3. As a student, I can raise awareness about the dangers of technology by using it myself,
particularly the social media platform. Furthermore, we all know that in this generation millions
of people are using social media such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and such. This would be a
good strategy to reach a lot of people and spread awareness that not only good bring good
effects but can also contribute to change. A better opportunity.
