WHAT ARE HEALTHY FOODS?

• A healthy diet is one that is based on foods of plant origin, has


slightly less of foods of animal origin (fish, white meat, eggs and
milk), and very little consumption of ultra-processed and
superfluous foods or drinks.
WHAT ARE UNHEALTHY FOODS?
• "The method of preparation and the types of ingredients in the food
make it unhealthy," says Andari. "Sodium, sugar and fat (saturated
fats and trans fats) are the key ingredients that should always be
monitored when eating out and shopping at the supermarket.
WHY IS FOOD HEALTHY?
• they contain the necessary nutrients to carry out
the vital processes of each organism. Some
examples of them are fruits, vegetables, cereals
and healthy meats
WHY IS FOOD UNHEALTHY?
• When food is based on the consumption of junk foods we
stop receiving the nutrients we do need such as vitamins,
minerals, fiber, carbohydrates and proteins
