AWARENESS The public and the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils
INFORMATION/ (LDRRMOs) within the Pampanga River Basin are advised to maintain all the necessary
ADVISORY measures to mitigate the adverse impacts of the hazards still associated with T.C.
“PAENG”, particularly in the above-mentioned areas; to keep monitoring for heavy
rainfall warnings and other severe weather information specific to your area, and other
related products issued by PAGASA.

Concerned Regional and Local DRRMCs are advised to take appropriate actions and reminded to disseminate these
through local/community leaders and local media. Emphasis should be on proactive actions: evacuation rather than
rescue. Moreover, concerned offices are directed to reiterate the guidelines on personal protection and hygiene such as
respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene, physical distancing, environmental, and food safety measures. Further, people
living in the aforementioned areas are hereby advised to be on alert, take necessary precautions and follow the advise of
their respective Local DRRMCs.
