Satisfaction at work is more important than the money you earn.

First and foremost, the feelings of satisfaction about what you have done brings many
benefits. The most remarkable point is that satisfation helps employees to be in good moods
while they are working. Good emotions can affect to how active people work, how creative
they think and whether they would like to build a close-knit relationship with the organization
they work for or not. Moreover, satisfied employees play a vital role in creating a friendly
work environment.
Secondly, satisfation in job helps to reduce the stress and work pressure for everyone. The
pleasure coming from the office raises the happiness index of a country. People can live in a
more heathy and safe society where the crime rate is so low and people’s life expectancy
gradually increases.
Unfortunately, another point shows that the more money you earn, the happier your life is,
no matter how satisfied you feel about the job. On the one hand, money can help you pay
monthly electricity, gas and water bills, tuition fees, foods anf other entertainment activities.
Satisfaction is worthless if the salary can not afford for the basic monthly expenditure of a
person, together with his/her family. In modern life, it is undeniable that people can live
normally without job satisfaction, but they can not survive without money.
On the other hand, many people strongly believe that money is one off the most important
criteria to create job satisaction. It means that good salary makes employees more satisfied
with their contributions.
According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, in order to achieve one’s satisfaction, we need to
meet them at five levels from the lowest to the highest including: physical needs like
breathing, foods, water, clothings and so on; safety; belongings;self-esteem and self
actualization respectively. In this pyramid, physical requirements are the most basic one for
human survival. Therefore, they shout be met first. On purposes of satisfying these needs,
people should be paid an appropriate salary base. The good workplace in which people feel
they can be protected, loved and connected with others, in which they can show who they are
and get what they deserve and being recogized by others, enables people much more satisfied.
In conclusion, we should consider about what we want and expect from our job: Should we
work for passion and satisfation? Or should we work for money? so that we could make the
most suitable decision for ourselves and satisfy about it.
The best part of working in a job which you love is that you don’t need to postpone
enjoyment and the worst part of working in a job which you don’t like is that you are always
dreaming of enjoyment.
If your heart is not there in any job or activity then its better not to do it.
Because you are forcing yourself against your energies and this conflict is going to drain you
in long term.
In the end what matter is not the amount of money you make but the sense of satisfaction,
when you finish your day. What you are going to do with that money which does not bring
satisfaction? The money which you make while killing your heart can never be satisfying in
long term.
