Sub:- Requesting to make Bible one of the subjects upto class 9.

Beloved Bhisop,

Nagaland is known as the Christian State in India. Of all the subjects, Bible is the most
important subject, because, God has presented The Bible to human beings through His chosen
people through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

The Non-Christian students of Catholic schools will come to know the full life history of
the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the greatest gospel outreach in Catholic schools. The majority of
Christian students never read Bible at their home. Most of the parents of Nagaland will feel
happy if we teach Bible lessons and conduct bible exams for their children.

Being the church running schools (under Minority in India), though it is secular, we
have an opportunity to teach the Bible. Students’ heart is just like the Greenwood’s. They can
easily accept the word of God without question. As the word of God is a Seed, it will spread out
and flourish within them at the right time in their life span and will bring them to Heaven. So,
teaching Bible to them, is a wonderful God’s ministry.

My mother accepted Jesus Christ because of a Christian Mission School. She planted her
faith within me and my siblings. So by God's grace we are saved.

Some schools in Dimapur, teach Bible by changing the subject name Scripture to avoid
any problem from public.

Therefore, I humbly request you to keep Bible as one of the subjects so that God can
continue His blessings, when we give preference to His word.
