My name is Mateus and my surname is Lima. I’m from the northeast region of Brazil, in Ceará
and I’m twenty-four years old. I´m a renewable energy engineering student. I do energy
engineering at university.
I have worked on research and extension projects. In research projects I worked with the
development of thin film photovoltaic cells. In the extension work, I worked in the training of
high school youths on the dissemination of renewable energies. In the field of work in the
private sector, I have already worked on projects for Solar Energy plants, and currently I work
on the development of centralized energy generation projects.
I can speak Spanish, as I lived in Peru for a year. English classes take place at the house of
British culture at the Federal University of Ceará in Fortaleza, at Avenida da Universidade,
2683 - Benfica, Fortaleza - CE, 60020-180. English classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays in
the morning from 8 am to 10 am. I was never very attracted to studying English, however due
to the demands of my job, I am willing to learn this new language. I have more difficulty with
speaking.
