Assalamualaikum and Good evening, everyone.

For those who don’t know

me, I’m the father of the bride.

Firstly, I hope you all could be joining me in welcoming the personable

Collin, his dashing dad, ………………., lovely mother, ………………. and
dearest siblings here with us in this reception event marking the entwining
of our two family trees.

Next, I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Collin's family

members, who took the time out of their precious schedules and traveled
from far and wide, just to be gracing our event today with their blessing. It is
truly an honor to be having you here at this momentous event.

Today, I am overflowing with emotions as I stand here to deliver this

speech. I am incredibly proud of my daughter, and I couldn’t be happier that
she has found such a wonderful partner in Colin.

Colin, from the moment we were introduced to you, your kind gestures and
warm smile captured our hearts. Time does fly fast, without me realizing it,
it's already the time to officially welcome you into our family, but the truth is
you're already a part of this family ever since that fateful day. I have to say
though, I have always treated my daughter like a princess until this date
and I am confident that you will continue by treating her like your queen.

To my daughter, you captured my heart when you were born, and still hold
it now, my beautiful girl, my sunshine. I will always be fortunate to be called
your father. You will always be my little princess, and I will always be here
to support and love you. And as I watch you get married today, to such a
wonderful young man, I can say that my happiness is full.

Lastly, my advice to the newlyweds is to always communicate, be honest

with each other, and most importantly, never forget why you fell in love with
each other. So let’s make dua' for the newlyweds, wishing them a lifetime of
love and happiness till Jannah.”
