Job Description

Job title: ACCOUNTANT

Work Location: LGVHAI Admin Office

Division/Department: Accounting & Finance

Reports to: BOD


 Full-time  Exempt from overtime
 Part-time  Nonexempt from overtime

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is in charge of full cycle financial accounting, analysis, and reporting to the BOD. Duties
are not confined to bookkeeping but this position should be able to understand the big picture in the
preparation, administration, and control of LGVHAI’s financial resources.

 Attests function on transactions, bookkeeping, analysis of accounts and production of Financial


Statements
 Preparation of Monthly Statements of Billing and Assessment and other expenses billable to
homeowners and residents
 Proper receiving, handling and accounting of payments
 Management of uncollected dues/receivables
 Payroll preparation and other related statutory payments and reports (SSS, HDMF, Philhealth, BIR,
Alphalists)
 Oversee use of petty cash fund
 Responds to inquiries of homeowners/residents regarding booking of facilities with fees, Stataments of
Billings and Assessments, and other matters.
 Assistance and coordination with external auditors, finance consultants, and BOD on matters pertaining
to financials.
 Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


 Bachelor/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking
 Highly motivated, structured and quality driven individual
 Possesses strong initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, requires little or no supervision
 Demonstrates Team collaboration and Team spirit
 Good command in English – oral and written
 Minimum of 3 years experience in general accounting or related process
 Knowledgeable in month end close cycles, full GL function
 Experience in bank reconciliation and preparation of various account schedules
 Experience in understanding of Financial statements through variance analysis
 Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (GAAP)
 Hands-on experience with accounting software like (e.g.QuickBooks)
 Advance MS Excel skills
 Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

 Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
 Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone

 Prolonged use of computer
