Writing Quantitative Research Design according to the details filled in the above
table. (Use the below template)

The study was carried out utilising a quantitative research method with a survey
design. Quantitative research will emphasise objective measurements and statistical,
mathematical, or numerical analysis of data gathered through polls, questionnaires, and
surveys, as well as through modifying pre-existing statistical data using computing tools. The
goal of quantitative research is to collect numerical data and generalise it across groups of
individuals or to explain a specific occurrence (Babbie, Earl R., 2010; Muijs, Daniel., 2010).
The population of this study is 2000 students from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia . Using
techniques stratified random sampling according to course, gender, level of education, age.
This study involved 300 respondents based on Krejcie & Morgan Table as sample size. The
data obtained using electronic questionnaires through google form as an instrument of
study containing questions related to student’s awareness on the authentication of hadith
on the internet. Data collection method that used is survey method with five important
steps that need to be done by researcher to ensure that the data collection process runs
smoothly. The first step is identifying the problem and the purpose of the data collection.
The next step is selecting research location and sources (respondents) with the aspect of
level of education, age and course. This was followed by asking permission from the location
selected by letters or through email. Data collection is the most important part and should
not be taken lightly to make this survey works perfectly accurate. Finally, last step is
analysing the data.
