TECHNICAL ADVISER TA when I follow all this tasks:
 Lead execution of retrofit projects, including: Excitation systems (EX2100
EX2100e, LS2100, LS2100e ELIN ANDYRTIZ HYDRO and HMI products),
Generator Protection Systems (GPP), and Power System Stabilization systems.
 Support warranty administration and troubleshooting issues.
 Provide timely and accurate internal and external reports.
 Implement excitation control system software changes.
 Provide Technical Direction for writing install and terminate, complete
functionality checks, and troubleshooting the turbine excitation / LCI system.
Perform start-up/shut-down sequencing and turbine/generator operation.
 troubleshooting for all electrical protection system and generator Excitation
system (ELIN from ANDYRTIZ HYDRO)
 Technical advice to electrical team about procedure of operation (generator
excitation system and GCP protection system).

I joint Algerian Operating and Maintenance in a combined cycle power


plant x3 Frame 9B «EDDRAOUCH KOUDIET 1200MW» as ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
maintenance when I handle those follows tasks:
 Simulation and testing of LV and MV motors (Stator winding Insolation and
resistor test (Meg-Ohm checks) , Polarization Index (PI) ,Step Voltage
test ,Surge test) for all Gaz and Steam Turbine which including:
 Air inlet system
 Distillate oil supply system
 Gas exhaust system
 Fire protection system
 Lubricating oil (lube-oil) and seal system AC MOTORS ( BPM) and DC
MOTORS (EBOP,ESOP)
 Control fluid system
 Water injection
 Gas turbine drains system
 Thermal and acoustic enclosure
 Compressor wash system
 Startup system gas turbine (LCI)
 Testing and commissioning of Electrical power transformers such as
400KV/18.5KV ,18.5KV/6.6KV ; 6.6KV/400V Current Transformer, Voltage
Transformer and other electrical equipment
 Maintenance of MV and LV switchgear witch contain: circuit breaker 6.6Kv,
circuit breaker 400V, HSTS “high speed transfer system”, ATS “automatic
transfer system, protection relay.

Advisor (period of shut-down)
 Maintenance GAS turbines: Frame 9FB STEAM TURBINE model A15, and
generator systems

 Control, verification and maintenance of the excitation commutator brushes in


service.
 Troubleshooting of gas turbine trips, shutdowns and start up
 Good knowledge of turbine control system.
 Direct hands on participation to execute all day to day mechanical
maintenance activities on gas turbines, routine and non-routine, breakdown
shutdown providing support in the control and scheduling aspects of the same.
 Advise the Chief / Principal Electrical Engineer of any major slippages and
Their causes, all policy matters, major technical problems and unresolved
Differences with other Groups, and requests for changes by the Client which
May constitute a contract change.
 Provide support to other departments, when so required, in order to optimize
the utilization of the company’s resources, always provide a cost effective
approach to all actions.
 Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards set by the
company, and contribute to this effort by ensuring that his fellow workers and

and Fertilizers Plant as an Electrical engineer at Utilities Unit (CU2)

specializes in all technical fields and including electricity, control, instrumentation and
electrical installations troubleshooting.

verification of difference devices: circuit breaker and contactor MV transformer
Maintenance of Power Transformers, Generators, Excitation & associated systems
