The communication director at WCH writes to Betty Friedman to provide feedback on her proposals for resolving communication issues. While some proposals like improving internal communications and notifying divisions of customer issues are agreed with, daily sales reports are disagreed with due to lack of employee time. Overall, the feedback is appreciated and the director hopes to work together again in the future.

I'm writing to thank you for your suggestions for resolving our communication issues at WCH. I agree with some of your suggestions but disagree with others. I'd want to use this occasion to convey my reactions to your ideas. 1. Internal communications: The first proposal is one we agree with. Priority cannot be achieved in the absence of knowledge. The second option is good, however your plan falls short. He could make a mistake if he responds to a customer complaint without speaking with others. 2. Sales reps/Head Office: We disagree with your proposal. While daily reports are convenient, employees do not have enough time to read them. Instead, if a problem occurs, each division sends a report to the other connected division. 3. Customer Services Department: We agree with your suggestion. Because no one was hurt in this example, individuals may be hurt by our products. We must forward the information to the appropriate divisions. Finally, I'd want to thank you again for your suggestions. It was a joy to work with you, and I hope to work with you again in the future. Best regards, Betty Friedman Communications Director at WCH
