o The Global Leadership Project is the very first dataset to offer biographical information on leaders in 162
countries, including members of the government, CEOs, and other elites
o Recruited, interviewed, trained, and supervised a group of 152 data collectors formed mostly by
Masters and Ph.D. students or recent graduates from advanced degrees in the top colleges, such as
LSE, Harvard, and McGill
o Oversaw data entry, cleaned data, and managed a US$ 100 000 grant provided by the World Bank
