1. Executive Summary
This report presents the progress of the [freelance copy editor’s] output in editing the [foundation’s]
blog and magazine articles for its [March 2022] release. After finishing the blog articles, the copy
editor is currently working on editing the [magazine articles.] Upon editing, the copy editor noticed
some grammatical errors, plagiarism, and the lack of [SEO] keywords and key phrases in the articles
and recommended better training programs to enhance the writing skills of its writers. Upon the
completion of the work, expected to be on or before [February 14, 2022,] the freelance copy editor
expects to receive a payment of [$7,200] for all services rendered to the foundation.

2. Project Details

The foundation is developing a current project to save homeless dogs and puppies in Colorado,
sheltering them and preparing their adoption papers for a better life with their [new families.] For
the project to succeed, the company decided to acquire the services of one of the [freelance copy
editors] from Writers [Aspire Co.] to edit the foundation’s website and magazine articles. Currently,
the writer completed editing all blog articles and is proceeding with the magazine articles. The
freelance editor is currently on schedule for the release of the [March 2022] blogs and magazine.

 ● The majority of the articles made by the foundation’s writers had [grammatical errors] and did

● The group failed to use [SEO] keywords and [key phrases,] which can enhance the group’s
search engine ranking.

6. Recommendations

● Develop an excellent training program and writing seminars for the writers to improve their
writing skills and educate them about the risks of plagiarism and how to avoid them.

● Inform the team to use [SEO] keywords and key phrases to optimize the group’s [SEO] ranking.
