UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN CELL MANIT

The UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN STUDENTS CELL MANIT has organised five
promotional activities in the adopted village (09th October 2022) these are as follows:

Mushroom Farming: The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell organised a training c amp in the
Kharpa village for farmers. Professor (Dr) Vijay Kumar Yadav has imparted the training to
farmers and elaborated the benefits and process of mushroom farming. The farmers have
raised many questions related to mushroom cultivation and Dr.Vijay has cleared all the
doubts and familiarised with process of its cultivation. Further, Dr. Vijay emphasised that
mushroom farming is very cost effective and give very good profit in long term as it does not
required much investment.

Simple Science Experiments for Government School Students: This activity was
performed by the students of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell MANIT. The following experiments
were conducted for government school students Invisible Ink, Inflating Balloons without
using air &using Vinegar and baking soda, Coin illusion: Disappearing the coin below water
and Lungs demonstration.

Awareness for Girls Students in Government School: The girls’ students of Unnat Bharat
Cell MANIT has delivered number of awareness tips to girl students of government school
such as higher education opportunities after 10+2 in science stream, engineering education
from IITs, NITs, IIITs & Centrally funded institutes, Medical education from AIIMS and
state medical collages, architecture, social sciences, Law, Finance etc. Further, it was
emphasised by the MANIT UBA students that how to come out from the phobia of English
speaking and writing in daily life.

Job Opportunities after Graduation: The fourth group of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell has
elaborated in detail the job opportunities after graduation/post-graduation to the students of
government school and how to prepare for the competitive exams, like IES, IAS, IPS, IRS,
PSUs, State Public Services etc.

Distribution of Stationary Items to Primary School Students: The last activity of Unnat
Bharat Abhiyan Students Cell was distribution of stationary items to primary school students
in the village, such as pen, pencils, eraser, sharpner etc.
