Let Me Guide You Step by Step and Make It Easier For You
Customization of
RESUME & COVER LETTER
• Analyze the Job description: Carefully read the job description and highlight the
key requirements, qualifications, and skills the employer is looking for. Make a list of
these points.
• Match your experience and skills: Review your existing Resume and compare
the points listed in the job description with your experience and skills. Identify the
relevant experience, achievements, or skills you have that match the requirements.
• Tailor your Resume: Modify your Resume to emphasize the relevant experience
and skills that match the job description points. You can do this by:
a. Reordering your bullet points to prioritize the most relevant experience.
b. Rewriting the bullet points to emphasize the skills and achievements that match the
job description.
c. Adding any missing skills, experiences, or qualifications that are directly related to
the job description.
• Use keywords: Make sure to use the same keywords and phrases from the job
description in your Resume. This will help your Resume stand out when recruiters use
applicant tracking systems (ATS) to search for specific keywords.
• Keep it concise: Ensure your Resume remains concise and focused on the job you
are applying for. Aim for a maximum of 2 pages, and consider using a clear format to
make it easy for recruiters to review your Resume quickly.
• Customize your cover letter: In addition to tailoring your Resume, make sure
to customize your cover letter to address the specific job description points. This will
help demonstrate your interest in the position and showcase how your experience and
skills make you the ideal candidate.
