I am Luiz Eduardo Guedes, Adviser of EducationUSA in Acre. I would like to inform you about the
inauguration of a new EducationUSA Center unit in Brazil, held by the Federal Institute of Acre
(Ifac) on February 27th. With the creation of this space, Acre becomes a reference center within
the global network of Department of State's EducationUSA Advising Centers, joining over 40
EducationUSA Centers already installed in universities, federal institutes, and binational centers
throughout the country.

We know that choosing the country and institution to pursue international studies can be
challenging, but EducationUSA can help make this process easier. As part of the global guidance
network of the United States Department of State, EducationUSA offers accurate, updated, and
unbiased information on study options in the United States, including scholarships and financial
assistance.

We would like to visit your school to present the possibilities of studying in the United States to
your students and/or parents. We can provide information on the application process, obtaining
scholarships, obtaining a student visa, and other admission requirements. We can also provide
information on the experience of studying in the United States, including university life and
American culture.
