1.0 OBJECTIVES

I. To understand text, dimension and layer command in AutoCAD

II. To draw Orthographic Drawing using AutoCAD

3.0 SYNOPSIS AND THEORY

Refer to lecture notes and a textbook.

4.0 PROCEDURES

a. Read the instruction carefully.

b. Draw the orthographic drawing for Drawing 1 & 2 below by using AutoCAD Software.
c. Base on your numbering in SMP attendance, change the dimension in Drawing 1 and 2
according to Table 1 and 2.
d. ‘X’ is a front view.
e. All holes in the drawings are through hole or otherwise stated.
f. Organize your drawing using layer.
g. Set your dimension style (setting for dimension/text may be difference base on your
drawing size).
h. Save your drawing as L3_ firstname_Nomatrix
i. DRAWING TITLE (in title block) : LAB3 – ORTHOGRAPHIC DRAWING
j. Fit all your drawings in the title block created. You may have more than 1 page if the
space is insufficient.
k. Diasble any temporary line before plotting/convert to PDF.
l. Upload your drawing (CAD and PDF format) via link provided in ULEARN.
m. Time given is 3 hours.
