Scope of study

The focus of this investigation also includes identifying the elements that influence Islamic
deposit products as the main priority for non-Muslim customers. Data was collected randomly
from non-muslim customers and the method used by the researcher to collect data was a
questionnaire.

Significance of study
The researcher can demonstrate through this study how non-Islamic customers accept Islamic
services and goods. It shows that non-Muslim customers will think about using Islamic banking
if the bank can instill a high degree of confidence and guarantee that non-Muslim customers can
conduct banking operations in a secure and reasonable manner. This study should help Islamic
banks in Malaysia gain a full grasp of the informational demands and requirements of non-
Muslim clients in relation to Islamic deposit products.

Introduction literature review

A summary of the research literature is a synthesis of resources aimed at examining the
essential components of the body of literature, such as significant findings or methodological
and conceptual approaches to a particular subject. The literature review is a critical component
of any research study, providing an in-depth analysis of the existing knowledge base while
highlighting areas for further research.

Conceptual framework
Figure 2.2 illustrates the theoretical structure of the investigation, specifically the variables that
affect Islamic deposit products as the main preferences towards
non-Muslim banking transactions in Malaysia. The independent variables are shariah
regulations, understanding of customers, confidence and trust and withdrawal flexibility.
Whereas the dependent variables is the customers choice.

Sample size
sampling is the procedure of choosing an appropriate sample from a population with a certain
goal. The target population is statistically represented by a good sample, and the sample size
should be sufficient to answer the study question.
The purpose of this study's intended respondents was to obtain data as well as information. A
minimum of 300 individuals are required to accurately represent the entire population.

Sampling technique
There are 2 types of sampling technique which is non probability sampling and probability
sampling. the sample for this study was drawn from all Malaysian residents, therefore the
researchers used probability sampling approaches. 300 questionnaires will be chosen at
random from a population to represent the respondents in this study, and simple random
selection will be employed to accomplish so. With this approach, each person in the population
does has a fair opportunity to be selected.
