1. Early Life and Education: Elon Reeve Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in
Pretoria, South Africa. He developed an interest in computing and technology
from a young age. Musk attended various educational institutions, including
Queen's University in Canada, the University of Pennsylvania in the United
States, and Stanford University but did not complete his degrees.
4. Tesla, Inc.: Musk joined Tesla Motors (now Tesla, Inc.), an electric car
manufacturer, as chairman in 2004. He later became the CEO and played a
vital role in transforming Tesla into a leading electric vehicle (EV) company.
Under Musk's leadership, Tesla introduced innovative EV models such as the
Tesla Roadster, Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Model Y. The company has
also developed advanced autonomous driving technology.
5. SolarCity and Energy Initiatives: Musk co-founded SolarCity (now part of
Tesla) in 2006, aiming to accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy
solutions. SolarCity specialized in solar energy services, including solar panel
installation and energy storage solutions. Musk has also been involved in
initiatives like the Gigafactory, which produces lithium-ion batteries for
electric vehicles and energy storage.
