Conclusion and Recommendation

In inclusion, we had done our research in Nan Pan village, Pin Laung Township, Southern Shan
State to acquire crops- yield situation of Nan Pan village between 2020, 2021 and 2022. Most of
residents in Nan Pan village worked in agriculture. Farmers from Nan Pan village had been experienced
with agricultural obstacle. This problem included reduction in crops-yield. The main crops in Nan Pan
Village are chili and tea plants. Within three years(2020 to 2022) , harvest is decreased. So, our team
decided to find out why crops-yield are decreased in Nan Pan village agriculture. This research had done
with the utilization of mixed method( called quantitative and qualitative methods), snowballing and
semi-structured interview. Researchers had asked 20 questions with three sections to 10 farmers from
Nan Pan village. These three questions involved general questions, appraisal of crops-yield and cause of
reductions in crops-yield. This research will benefit local people and agricultural organization such as
Boarder Less organization in learning agricultural situation of Nan Pan village. Not only Nan Pan villagers
but also residents from Pin Laung would notice why the crop yield decreased and find solutions for that.
These research findings showed rates of crops-yield between three years (2020 to 2022). This research
mainly explored the major crops of Nan Pan agriculture, chili and tea. Chili crop yield is declined in 2022.
The growing tea plant outcome is normal in 2020 and 2021. In contrast, it diminished in 2022. In the
exploration for nutrition for plants, Nan Pan village's farmers mostly used chemical fertilizers and only
four farmers used organic fertilizers in that village's agriculture. Finally, this research found the reason for
decreasing in crop yield are abnormal climate change and frustrated soil. Our team assumed this
research can be useful when other researchers or research projects if they do agricultural research in
Nan Pan village. It will be helpful for farmers not only from Nan Pan village but also farmers around
Myanmar in learning why crop yield is declined and what makes this decline.

In Nan Pan Village, there is still little knowledge about agriculture, so other organizations should provide
training. In the current political situation, fertilizer is getting more and more expensive. Therefore, it is
essential to give training about natural fertilizer. Additionally, Farmers should reduce the utilization of
chemical fertilizers to trim down the damage to the soil. Farmers also need awareness of using pesticides
and to ensure the safe use of all pesticides.
