A LESSON PLAN FOR DIFFERENT KINDS OF LINES

I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the Grade 2 pupils with 80% accuracy
will be able to;

a. identify the correct sequence of the figures using


different types of lines;

V. PROCEDURES A. Preliminary Activities
 The teacher will start with her daily routine activities
for the day
 The teacher will give the classroom rules at the
beginning of the lesson
 The teacher will introduce the activity to be done for
the day
 The teacher will show a video song about different
lines.
 The teacher will show a video about geometric lines
for kids

B. Development of the lesson


 The teacher will ask the pupils what lines they are
familiar with and lines that they remembered from
two videos that were shown
 The teacher will show a finished drawing of a garden
using the different kinds of lines
 The teacher will introduce the activity and the name
of the material needed and will ask the learners to
repeat the name of the materials twice
 The teacher will ask the learners to prepare the
materials needed for the activity
 The teacher will paste the pictures of the steps on the
board to guide the learners for the activity
 The learners will start the activity, and the teacher
will discuss every step and will demonstrate the
activity to the learners then the teacher will supervise
the activity all throughout

Procedures:
1. After gathering all the materials. Let the learners get
ready for their bond paper and pencil.
2. Then the teacher will draw on the board step by step
the same as the picture pasted, assist the pupils if
they’re following and doing it coherently
3. After the learners draw, let them get their coloring
materials
4. Let them color their drawing on what colors they
want
5. Lastly, they need to put their name in the top right of
the bond paper

VI. ASSESSMENT The teacher will let the learners present their work to the class
and say something about it. Their work will be graded
accordingly:
3 stars- Very Good
(They will be given a sticker star)
2 stars – Good
1 star- Fair and need to improve
VII. ASSIGNMENT They need to draw another landscape or anything using the
different kinds of lines and present it tomorrow
