Danganronpa Ultimate Level Showdown

. What timeline is this server? .

This server takes place inside Danganronpa’s Ultimate Talent
Development Plan route.
It is an alternate universe within that route where everyone from
classes 77, 78, and 79 are the same age and graduated together.
The tragedy has not occurred,
Any islands and names will be completely made up, the islands are
all fictional places located southeast of Osaka.

. What is the point here? .

Hope’s Peak wants to perform a social experiment while
broadcasting the competitions live for money.
While there are no cameramen, there are Nanokumas around. They
are extremely tiny Monokuma-like robots with a resemblance to

insects and cameramen. They take care of surveillance in the show.

It has become a reality show about Ultimates vs. Ultimates.
Can talents be pushed to the limits when things are on the line?
Who will come out on top?
All of these events are currently happening as students receive
their college education. Ultimates are expected to participate in at
least one event. Failure to do so may lead to expulsion.
The winner(s) of it all will receive funding for the rest of their life.
Meaning that any Ultimate will be wealthy and has an ongoing
source of income, all funded by Hope’s Peak University.
Exploring Ultimates and improving on them is something that the
University seeks to do, no matter the cost.

. How did the canon characters get here? .

Canon characters graduated from Hope’s Peak High School and
were given invitations to attend the University branch of Hope’s
Peak.
Canon character siblings or family members can be invited in to join
the competition.
No created OCs as family members are allowed.

. How did the OCs get here? .

OCs did not attend Hope’s Peak Academy in their teen years.
They are attending for the first time.
They do not know the canon characters personally, but only
through the news and online forums.
OCs were scouted out recently due to their gaining popularity
within Japan.
Thus Hope’s Peak wished to create an experiment, attempting to

see how new Ultimates fare against Ultimates who have had more
time developing their skills.
There is a reserve course within the school, and students here
have paid money in order to be part of the education system and
to be bystanders in the competitions.

. What is this island the school is located on? .

Hope’s Peak University sits on an island called Shijima within the
Koikabe Archipelago, southeast of Osaka. AKA the Overseas
Campus project.
Surrounding Shijima island are many other islands, some may even
appear to be artificial…?
There is a ferry boat that goes from Shijima island and toward the
mainland. The trip is at least three hours on the ferry.

. Why are Monokuma and Monomi here? .

While Monokuma’s design was made by Junko, scientists have
taken the design to attempt their own innovation of the bear,
infusing it with AI feelings to seem more human. Both Monokuma
and Monomi have been created to make sure things go according
to plan.
These robots help Ultimates with inquiries and service the
Ultimates whenever needed.
The robots contain their canon personalities but are set to
balance one another for commentary purposes. Monomi is on the
good side, and Monokuma is crude, rude, and outrageous.

. How will competitions work? .

Mods will create small events for others to participate in.
Whoever is not participating in the actual event can become an
event judge and endorse any of the current members participating.
Please understand that some characters will not win.
There will never be a predetermined outcome. While yes there is a
winner, remember that it is the experience of the events that makes
it fun.
Note that not everyone’s Ultimates are suited for certain
challenges.
Losers of competitions will suffer a punishment of sorts. This
will range from humiliation and other sorts of things.
They are all non-lethal.
