Melt away your laziness / Motivated Motion

The end of year is near bringing with it the season of gifts.

This December, gift yourself a mini motivation tool- to push yourself to achieve what you set
your mind to.

It takes 21 days to form a habit.

Decide on a goal and get started!
Use this snowman day tracker to witness your progress as you inch closer to your goal with
each passing day.

What you will need:

 A sturdy paper plate

 Black chart paper
 Orange chart paper
 Glue
 A thumb tack
 Scissors
 String

What to do:

1. Cut out two large circles and five small circles out of the black paper to form the
snowman’s eyes and smile.
2. Cut out a long triangle from the orange paper for the snow man’s nose.
3. Cut the shape of a hat out of the black paper. The hat can be decorated with cut out
leaves and berries or crayons.
4. Glue the two big circles to the plate as eyes and the five small circles in the form of a
smile for the snowman as shown in the image.
5. Use a thick marker to write the numbers 1 to 25 on the rim of the paper plate.
6. Poke a hole in the middle of the paper plate and attach the snowman’s nose using the
thumb tack.
7. Punch a hole through the top of the paper plate (behind the hat).
8. Pass the string through the hole and tie a knot to secure the string.
9. Now hang your day monitor snowman in an easily visible place at home.

As each day passes, move the carrot nose ahead to mark the completion of one more
successful day on the way to achieving your goal.
