KROK 1 step by step !!

Hello friends

I am Khalil a 5th year medical student in Bogomolets. I scored 95,3% in Krok 1 2020
and taught students of the previous year to successfully pass Krok.
I want to share my experience that will be useful for you to prepare for your Krok
exam next year.

——————————————————

First of all, there is no one single source for studying Krok, it all depends on your
studying in the first 3 years. Best way to start even if you do not have enough
information is to start directly by solving questions and then learning the
information behind those questions.

——————————————————

• When to start ?

I recommend starting as early as possible if you are weak in the basics, so now is the
optimal time to start

• How to prepare ?

You start with the bases (subjects), these include 100-150 questions of a specific
subject.
You understand each question (no memorization ) and it is very important to know
why each answer is correct and why others are wrong. You can use google, YouTube
videos, books or Krok courses to find explanation for the answers.

When you finish the bases, you start doing the booklets (2005-2021), these are past
year questions, they are the most important part of the preparation. You have to do
them 2 times at least (one time as a part of your general preparation and another
before the exam).

Sources and websites I used:

• Eneutron.com
Advantages: Best website for examining yourself and practicing. It has all the bases
and booklets you need, with a practice option and an exam option to simulate the
exam style.
Disadvantages: Does not have explanations for questions so you have to search for
them yourself.

This link has all booklets, bases and useful materials as well. Specially Krok
explanation, I used it a lot in my preparation. I will add helpful materials to it in the
future as well.

• Krok 1 ministry book: Additional source recommended for people aiming for +90%
score

——————————————————

General recommendations:

• For people aiming for the passing mark, doing and UNDERSTANDING the booklets
is enough.

• Study your 3rd year subjects well and try to take the mcqs on your subjects
seriously as they can come in Krok (Test center uses some questions present in
university bases).

• Keep a notebook for Krok (write difficult questions explanations, similar questions
together so you can remember the difference between them, keywords...etc)
• The exam is not difficult, and hopefully all will pass it. Prepare well and take it as
a chance to strengthen your knowledge in basic subjects to prepare for clinical years

——————————————————

You do not have to go through all of your preparation by yourself, there are courses
for Krok that can help you achieve your goals.
My course for example cover all sources and questions for Krok, and explain it
to you in the simplest way possible.
I am starting free Biochemistry course for those interested, contact me to register
or you can find it in the group here:

Finally, if you have any questions regarding the exam feel free to contact me

All the best..
