It encompasses all the aspects of the culture of a people, as well as the aspects of
the geographical location and relief of the region.

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION

The Orinoquía, also known as Eastern plains , is one of the 6 natural regions of
Colombia. It is located in the east of the country, bordering Venezuela to the north
and east, Amazon to the south, and the Andean region to the west. In it we find the
department of Meta, its capital is the city of Villavicencio and it is divided politically
and administratively into 29 municipalities.
 THE WEATHER

The Department of Meta is mainly determined by its geographical position and its
relief. The rainy season is prolonged and extends from March to November.
