islands in Indonesia

Europe as
one of the most popular musicians in Tlrol is Hermarm Delago. He is well known in Ausüia but also around
well as in Indonesia Hermann Delago is a great composer, singer and multi-insrumentalist as well as an experienced
conductor.

1995 Herman Delago travelled to Indonesia for the first time and was fascinated by variety of interesting

In Samosir he got to know its traditional music as well as the fascinating deails about its geographical and geological

The concert has the following aims:

To point out the high value of the Batak's music


To'manage u o"ry-ooiqo" went at Lake Toba Samosir as one of the very attractive tourism places in Sumatra, in order
to stirmrlate the growth of the number ofvisitors to LakeToba.
To motivate and-inspiretheyounger generation tobe more aware that Batak

The ooncerts will take place in Batu Kursi Museum, Sialagan/Ambarita Samosir for 2 days.
The musicians and artists to be invohred in this concert are as follows:
About 80 musicians from Ausfia, divided into two gloups of orchestras as follows:

b. STADTMUSIKIMST

Vocalist/ Singer: Two singers from Jakarta and/or Sumatra

The project costs needed:

l. Retum ticket from Aus[ia - Medan, M€dan - Ausria for 80 people including rebmticket for pmject nranagers
2. Grcund transportation (two buses) from Medan - Paop"t, Parapat - Medan
3. Ship transportation from Parapat'Tuk Tuk, Tuk Tuk-Parapat
+. T'nJtranportation fromhotel to concert's locationfor 3 days (l day reheaßal, 2 days concert)
5. Hotel accomodation for 80 people.
6. Sound system, PA andüansportation.

Concertprogram plans:

Each concert will consist of two sets:


The firS set will perforrr Batak songs for 50 minutes
The second set will also include Western songs for 50 mintres
The artists from Jakarta and local artists from Samosir will perforrr before the concert and between the 2 sets.

Once the Foject is finishe4 the entire profit will be donated towards a project around Tuk Tuk Siadong for supporting
the rdormation of Samosir tourism

Thus the proposal is done, hopefirlly it will be underständable and may have the attention.
