As a former retired NBA basketball player, I was thrilled to see your posting for the position of
Head Coach for the Detroit Lions. I am confident I would be an asset to leading your team to a
Championship. I have experience with the beautiful game that is basketball and have
succeeded in winning multiple Championships in my career.

With the experience of 12 years playing and 6 years coaching, I have played and worked with
great players and mentors. I have gained a lot of experience and know the struggles that are
needed to be a successful player both on and off the court. I am committed to doing whatever I
can to help my team win, and impact the game by any means necessary. Here are some of the
accomplishments of my 18 years around basketball:

● 2015 Rookie Coach of the Year

● NCAA and NBA record for most points in a single game with 100 and 120 respectively
● Youngest Rookie ever to be named an All-Star Player
● Youngest Rookie ever to win a Finals MVP
● Designed a new 2-3 Zone Defense Position adopted by coaches worldwide
● Mentored and led a group of players to an NCAA Championship

Furthermore, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management and graduated top of my class
from Columbia University. I am extremely excited and enthusiastic to apply to your organization
and hope to be a part of it. I have always dreamed of becoming a coach at the next level, and I
hope to fulfill that goal.
