Special mode specification

1. Start method
When the power supply is turned on while pressing the key shown in the table below
simultaneously, it starts in a special mode.

2. Eleven click calibration

(1) 7 segment LED will indicate “2”, so turn the 11 click volume clockwise to second
marker, and press WRITE.
(2) 7 segment LED will indicate “6”, so turn the 11 click volume clockwise to sixth
marker, and press WRITE.
(3) 7 segment LED will indicate “10”, so turn the 11 click volume clockwise to tenth
marker, and press WRITE.
(4) 11 click calibration is now set up. The configuration will be written on EEPROM,
and gets available on later use. When unconfigured, default value will be used.

3. Internal inspection
3.1 EEPROM collation (AX3G only)
When the inspection mode of AX3G gets booted, EEPROM read/write test will run
automatically. If 7 segment LED indicates “Bd”, either read or write process is at
fault.
3.2 EEPROM collation (AX3B/AX3A/AX5G/AX5B)
(1) Position the 11 click volume where 7 segment LED indicates “0.3”.
(2) Press WRITE.
(3) The result will be indicated at 7 segment LED as below.
“ok”…………….Succeeded.
“E1”……………Failed reading or writing.
“E2”……………Read/Write succeeded, but contents differ from factory data.
3.3 Battery voltage inspection
(1) Press WRITE and CANCEL simultaneously.
(2) Tens place digit and ones place digit of AD value will be indicated at the 7
segment LED.
* AX3 series indicates the right dot of 7 segment LED when the value is over
228, and indicates the left dot then the value is below 212.
* AX5 series indicates the right dot of 7 segment LED when the value is over
236, and indicates the left dot when the value is below 219.

4. Controller inspection

Check the control device and the indication, following the matrix below.

Check the DSP behavior following the matrix shown below.
