There are many other models that supplement the basic process
of action research with other aspects of the research process to
consider. For example, figure 1.2 illustrates a spiral model of action
research proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart (2004). The spiral
model emphasizes the cyclical process that moves beyond the initial
plan for change. The spiral model also emphasizes revisiting the
