Activity Proposal On Computer Literacy
Activity Proposal On Computer Literacy
With computerization, the LGU can reduce steps in transacting with the
government and cut processing time of official documents.
The LGU can also tap the power of automation to meet other requirements
of DILG and other agencies. One of these requirements is the preparation of
thematic maps in support to development plans. The preparation of maps is
greatly facilitated by GIS that allows the LGU to assess its strengths and
liabilities and devise programs and projects to address disadvantages and
draw greater benefits on existing advantages.
6. Project Description The training will focus on the application of Microsoft office.
The session is held twice a week (Saturdays & Sundays) for five (5)
consecutive weeks at six (6) hours per session under the tutorial of a
computer expert hired for the purpose. The LGU will provide the venue for
the training, the computer equipment to use, and the funding requirement
necessary in the conduct of the training.
This proposed program is scheduled on two (2) batches at 25 trainees per
batch.
Aside from the basics in computer, the class will undergo orientation on the
internet connectivity and the use of e-mail.
