My Autobiography
I was born on an anticyclone on the night of September
01, 1999, at Amang Rodriguez Hospital in Marikina City.
Anyhow, I am Richelle Bautista Villasis, and my friends
including, my classmates usually, called me Chelly rather
Chelle. In my family, I fostered along with my two
siblings, and I was the eldest child of my parents. I
currently lived at Habitat Pinugay Baras, Rizal
contemporaneously with, my two youngest siblings, my
cousin, and with my father.
I spent my elementary education at Grace Christian
Mission Technical School, in this school, I emerge as
Chess-player and a contestant for different declamation
contest in competing with other schools at the age of
seven. When I was in Senior High School, I continue to be a Chess-player for seven years. In
Senior High, I graduated in ICCT Colleges in the year of 2018, with honor. Providentially, my
desire for knowledge did not come to an end when I was at school. I was passionate about history
and literature. This desire accommodated me to gain profound insight into these fields and to
fulfill my dreams. Today, I am a fourth-year college student taking a Bachelor of Secondary
Education major in English, and I feel pretty comfortable about it. However, my truly envisioned
course was Bachelor of Arts major in English eventually this program, became dissipated, leaving
me in my second choice the BSE-English.
I am inevitable that by being dedicated to complete and widen my education, it will lead
me in my path to a better tomorrow. I want to become a distinguished professor in this field of
profession. I will study strenuously and dedicate my career to uncovering new understandings
that can benefit me and others. Undoubtedly, I realize that life is not just a delicate and smooth
path that you can easily overcome, it has difficulties and hardships that everyone will encounter.
Success is not that simple, in my perception enables us to achieve this, there are different factors
that you may first acquire and understand. Through obtaining it also indicates that positivity can
serve an individual to be victorious, and can speculate a person's features. Fundamentally, it's
determination and will to succeed is the key. However, I cannot tell what will happen to this trail
that I follow. Though, some questions wonder in my mind that am I ready to make sacrifices to
achieve my goal? And am I prepared to recover after failure and proceed to my goal again? Then
I realized that without strong internal motivation, it is nearly impossible to become successful at
all.

Philosophy of Teaching
Teaching is like cultivating a seed, nurturing it well to enable it to be a magnificent, verdurous,
and sturdy tree. As being in this profession, I believe that teaching is a noble and compelling
profession.

I believe being a great teacher must be an influential communicator, who listens well to
their students and show empathy.
That a teacher perceives and understands students, how they improve and acquire knowledge.
Can cope with their students by listening to them and noticing when a child struggles. I believe
we teachers lift up a student and have a lot of patience to never ever give up on a child because
we have the power to influence and make a change in their life.

I believe being a great teacher is being adaptable and engaging.

That a teacher can be versatile or flexible to be able to work in an invariably developing
environment also adapt their teaching methods based on the age of their students, the resources
available, and modifying curriculum, methods, and requirements. Also by being qualified to
engage students with amusement, creative exercises and a great classroom presence is an
essential part of denoting a good teacher.

Also, Teachers Are Lifelong Learners.

The dedication of teachers to continued education and a passion for learning. That keeping in
mind that this is a vocation and I believe it is my obligation as a teacher to be an adequate
diagnostician of students’ concerns, prior knowledge, and skills. It is a must to plan learning
experiences that will both challenge and allow each student to think and develop. Yet, being
amenable to continually add knowledge even unconventional ones at times will retain things
new and interesting, as well as furnishing our invaluable skills.

And by Valuing the Real-World Learning.

Through real-world learning, students explore their passions also turn what they admire into
lifetimes of professional achievement and individual accomplishment by the assistantship of a
teacher to make a positive difference in the world and the lives of others. Also, by cultivating
the essence of Real-World Learning, the engagement for students facilitates learning about
management expectations, careers, professionalism, and administrative functioning abilities.
History of Tanay West National High
School
The Municipality of Tanay through the leadership of Hon. Mayor Rafael
Tanjuatco, aims to provide quality education for all Tanayans. To make this vision
accomplished, combined efforts of the special and legal teams of Mayor Tanjuatco, in
cooperation with Tanay National High School (TNHS) and Marciana P. Catolos Memorial
National High School (MPCMNHS), Tanay West National High School (TWNHS) were
laid in place.

Purchasing of the land was made final in July 2011 together with the necessary
documents and requirements in the Department of Education – Division of Rizal.
Students from Tanay National High School and Marciana P. Catolos Memorial National
High School whose residences are in Barangay Wawa and Barangay Pinagkamaligan
were the subjects of the establishment of the school. This is to ensure that students will
have an easy access to a high school in their neighborhood; thus, the school remains
true to its battle cry, “Alay sa Kabataaan”.

The first day of classes started in July 22, 2011 with 101 students and four (4)
teachers. They are housed on two (2) make-shift rooms. There is also an additional
room that serves as a multifunctional room - faculty, canteen, guidance, stock room,
clinic and school head’s office.
The school principal during this time was Dr. Reynante V. Flandez. He was one of the
people who helped in the establishment of this school. Then, becoming independent
from its mother school - Tanay National High School, Mrs. Babylyn M. Pambid took over
as the Teacher In-Charge of the school on August 18, 2011.

Starting April 16, 2012, construction of a two-storey six-classroom Ynares building

has started and on September 5, 2012 another two-storey six-classroom from the Basic
Education Facilities Fund (BEFF) 2012 of the Department of Education has been
constructed.

As the population of the school increases, the need for additional rooms and buildings
were gradually answered and provided. The Congressional Building which is a 1 storey
4 classroom building started on April 2013 but this was still a work in progress. The
building was left unfinished and unfurnished but through the efforts of the school
personnel and its stakeholders, the classrooms were now used by the G7 students of
this school year.

Furthermore, progress and development were still really at the heart of the school
because on August 2013, another 1 storey-2classroom building was finished through
the PPP and DepEd Funds. Another building was finished on December 2014 from the
Australian Aid (AusAid) funds. Thus, the school can really accommodate its students
with its one-shift class mechanism.

Aside from classrooms and buildings, the school is also blessed with water facilities,
gym, water tanks and school perimeter fence and a lot more.

A Water Catchment was built beside the Ynares Building in April 2013. This is to
use the water from rain and keep it for functional use. Two Water Sanitation and Hand
Washing Facility (WatSan) were built in 2014 from the Department of Public Works and
High Ways (DPWH) funds. However, one of the WatSan Facilities was still a work in
progress due to unavoidable circumstances. The school had now also a gymnasium in
January 2015 through the efforts of the Provincial Government.

Aside from ensuring conductive classrooms and buildings for the students, the
school also focused in protecting the safety of the students by having a concrete
perimeter fence. The construction of the fence in 2014 was led by Engr. Marcelino Tica,
one of the earnest stakeholders of the school. The continuation of the fence
construction was funded by the General Parent Teacher Conference and the
Sangguniang Barangay of Wawa. It then finished by the Provincial Government in 2015
making the school secure from outside harmful forces.

Next to this was the concreting of the entrance road of the school in June 2016
from the Congressional Funds. The school ground was not yet finished though the
dumping of soil was done by the Municipal Government of Tanay and part of the
drainage system is also funded by them.  The complete drainage system and the
concreting of school ground by the Provincial Government, school stage, Senior High
School building, covered path walk, school monumental were also established in the
succeeding years.

Truly, through the efforts of the government, stakeholders and personnel, the
school has become what it is now – giving its learners the best facilities it can give and
offering the best life-long learning it can provide.
