UAPSA SEC 2022

I. PAGEANT MECHANICS
1. Each participating year level of UAPSA - SEC will choose their representatives
according to their own set of criteria. They are required to submit two pairs of
representatives.
2. Each representative will compete in the following categories:

 Candidate’s Official Photo – every candidate must have a photoshoot that will be
provided by the officers for the online pageant. The candidate who will gain the most
numbers of shares and reactions will be hailed as the “People’s Choice Awardee”.
 Presentation of Candidates – candidates will present themselves and the year level
being represented. Every candidate will be given a maximum of one (1) minute to
introduce their names and their respective year level.

 They will be rated according to the following:

Mastery – 30%
Poise and bearing – 30%
Self-Introduction - 30%
Audience Appeal – 10%

 Talent Competition – The presentation is in pair form; they will be given a maximum of
two (2) minutes for their talent presentation. Contestants are not able to wear and to use
harmful props/materials which can harm them and other people. They can wear whatever
they feel comfortable in performing their talent.

They will be rated according to the following:

Performance – 60%
Audience Appeal – 40%

 Design of Attires – Each candidate must wear their outfits that is designed by their
fellow Architecture Students. The design must be 100% recyclable materials like papers,
plastic, etc. and must be related to the theme that is provided.
THEME: MODERN BUILDING INSPIRED OUTFITS

They will be rated according to their:

Creative Design (related to modern building outfits) - 60%
Stage Presence - 20%
Projection & Delivery - 10%
Overall Impact - 10%

 Q & A Portions - each candidate will pick a judge and the chosen
judge will deliver the question. The questions are related to NAW 2022’s theme which is
“Ta-NAW sa Sining at Bukas ng Arkitektura.”

They will be rated according to their:

Wit & Content - 40%

Stage Presence - 20%
Projection & Delivery - 30%
Overall Impact - 10%
