EZ Trunkline
Product Description
The PRIMADET EZ TRUNKLINE unit consist of a length of orange shock tube. The EZ
TRUNKLINE has no high strength in-hole detonator. The EZ TRUNKLINE only has a surface
detonator inside a colour-coded plastic connector block to facilitate easy connections of up to
6 shock tube leads. The opposite end has no detonator, but an ultrasonic seal on the
shocktube lead with a colour-coded plastic J-hook.
Easy-to-read tags and labels prominently display the length and nominal firing time.
The EZ TRUNKLINE provides a fast, simple and cost-effective hook-up while allowing an
unlimited number of holes to be shot with inherent sequential timing. It is commonly used
as a starter unit, or a bridging device when problems are present and as a hook-up unit
to transfer the signal sequentially, especially in “air blast” sensitive areas, as it is
considered “noiseless”.
The unbelievably flexible and versatile unit can be used in combination with other
PRIMADET units, such as the EZ DET and MS PRIMADET detonators to satisfy simple or
complex blast design requirements whilst minimizing inventory of initiation system
components and cost.
The EZ TRUNKLINE non-electric blast initiation system is precise and reliable for sequential
blasting in numerous surface and underground applications and uses, such as
construction, quarrying, trenching and opencast blasting.
