Highlights:

Province of Capiz – The PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP) is

up for implementation in Capiz after its region wide launching. Capiz will have to
contribute 13,147 registrants. The said project hopes to register the unregistered births
and other civil registry documents of all Filipinos with emphasis on the sector of
Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and the poorest sector. PBRAP Agents made a courtesy call
to the entire Mayor in 17 different municipalities of Capiz to ask for a strong support.
Also attended LIGA Meetings with coordination to the Association of Barangay Captain
President (ABC) to present about the project. Visited and collected list of registrants in
Barangays of different municipalities.

A total of 8,005 registrants have transmitted to the Central Office. Only 4,301
have verified. There were 2,717 have no birth records and 1,164 with record. Mobile
Registration has conducted to the municipalities that have already results for
verification and have omnibus certification. Spearheaded by MCRs and their staff a
total of 2,017 registrants were successfully registered while 700 were deferred for
further processing pending the submission of needed documents or referred to other
municipalities where their CR event/s occurred.
