Executive Summary

Specialized Industrial Training: A Challenge During Covid-19 Pandemic was


developed to discourse the challenges that are faced during the Covid-10 Pandemic
started by the Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teachers Education students. It also
aims to enhance and improve their skills and knowledge in the field of work in the food
businesses since their course or major was aligned in to this field. Educational goals for
specialized industrial training are outlined in order to clearly communicate the
knowledge and practice-related elements that the trainee has gained and assessed.
Students are provided industrial training skills to organize and reflect on the learning
pathway needed for training. This proposal focuses on the job training, various tasks,
and work-related activities that they must complete as a crucial part of the training
during virtual meetings and the actual internship work in the end. Three months were
spent on industry-specific training for the restaurant's industry basics.

The focused activities and methods can assist students to have an experience in
the field of food business industry and how to handle these activities in this Pandemic.
Since the work ethics before the pandemic are way a lot of different to todays work
ethics, because we have a lot of things to consider. Especially in the field of food
industry, the students have a lot of things to know and learn. In this training
arrangement, the students can acquire and improve a lot of skills and knowledge in the
field of work such as how-to proper handle food sanitation, proper preparing of food and
work ethics that are needed in this situation. Since we are still in the pandemic, the
training will be divided in to virtual and actual training. Virtual training for the talks and
discussion while actual training for the execution of the knowledge and skills that they
acquired during the training.

Introduction

Specialized Industrial Training: A Challenge During Covid-19 Pandemic


encourages the participants or the students of Bachelor of Technical Vocational
Teacher Education to gain practical experiences, knowledge and skills that they can use
in the application in the field of working. The training will allow the students to be
exposed in the real-life work experiences that the normal employees are experiencing in
their daily work routine. During the internship, the Bachelor of Technical Vocational
Teacher Education students should have an opportunity to have a collaborative and
healthy environment and also a quality and effective organization that can help the to
understand and acquire the knowledge and skills in the safety standards and
professional work ethics during the internships.

Since we are still in the pandemic, the main problem of the internship for the
BTVTE students are having a number of capacities in the working areas. Considering
the situation, a lot of establishments are only requiring limited people that they can
accommodate in the workplace. So that, it can affect the scope of training courses, this
paper also offers and present some possible solutions that can be used to solve the
challenges faced by the instructors and students to fulfill the outcomes for this industrial
training during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

This proposal entitled, “Specialized Industrial Training: A Challenge During Covid


19 Pandemic” includes a lot of critical tasks, activities and projects that the BTVTEd
students can used to get a practical experience in the workplace. Since, we still have to
make sure our health and safety, the trainings are both virtual and actual trainings.
Virtual meetings can be a substitute for the discussion and reminders while the actual
training is for the execution and practical experiences in the workplace. To satisfy
course objectives, conduct observations of the necessary skills and knowledge, and
provide the final intern in person before pandemic circumstances. Related programs
also help students learn more effectively in remotely supplied industrial training.

Project Description

The “Specialized Industrial Training: A Challenge During Covid-19 Pandemic”


project is able to conduct a series of training to broaden and widen the knowledge and
skills of the Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education Students that are need
to execute in the real-life field of working. It can help them to have an opportunity to
complement their formal learning with practical knowledge and skills and also to
improve and enhance their knowledge by the experience that they can acquire in this
training.

Through ongoing collaboration, we design a program that meets the specific


needs of your organization and trainees. Our profession will enhance skills in food
service management through virtual and actual learning experience, the learning
experiences to meet the specific training objectives developed for intern students.
Training can be held Max Restaurant and Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng Lucena
campus sites. Training can take place from August to October 2021 that is necessary to
accomplish your training goals. Our flexible delivery allows training to fit into your
company's and students schedules. This will enhance your organizations bottom line
through our results-oriented training programs and other food services. Together we
can gain the competitive edge needed as well as successfully integrate a highly trained
workforce for your company's profitability and quality experience of students.

The objective of industrial training is to provide to students the feel of the actual
working environment and to gain practical knowledge and skills, which in turn will
motivate, develop and build their confidence. Industrial training is also expected to
provide the students the basis to identify their key operational area of interest

Details of the training program:

 This training program will run from 27th day of August till October 2021

 The training will be conducted in 4 batches. Every batch are able to experience
the different department within restaurant
 Upon the completion of the industrial training there will be conducted to test the
understanding of the participants on the different department safety work
procedures
 The student directly learns from a professional in his/her intended in food service
management.
 The student receives regular mentoring through weekly in-person meetings or
video conferencing.
 The internship site provides educationally enriching projects tied to learning
objectives.
 The internship has a mentor who provides quality training, supervision, and

evaluation.

Methodologies

We believe that hands-on approach in our training sessions is crucial for the
accurate learning of every intern students. To assure the safety of each participant or
intern students, every seminar and talks will held through video conferencing using
google meet, zoom, or video chat room. BTVTEd students has an enough skills to
practice work field and experienced professional to facilitate every exercise sessions.
We offer our participants an interactive and facilitative approach to training session
courses. Our training tools are thought-provoking, challenging and informative. Several
presentations and seminars will be held to discuss the training. There will be application
of what they have learnt as well as investigation for a better result.

The training will adopt the virtual training conference and actual training as
components while implementing the methodology to achieve the expected results.
Finally, the acceptance of deliverables will be used to justify the winning bid. There were
enhanced skills in terms of industrial training and mastery of training, which would
improve the skills and well-being of the participants.

Conclusion

As a conclusion, at this pandemic necessitates we all embrace it as challenge for


everyone and serve as motivation to do more and learn more. The collaboration of each
and everyone will consider how we might contribute to our communities and
perspectives in life. Despite the epidemic, we must try to improve our knowledge, skills,
and abilities. The industrial training has to be energized and embrace the new normal of
everyone's skill and being upgraded. Specialized industrial training should be proposed
to develop student’s hard skill, soft skill and most especially experience a work in filed
industry
Through this student can gain additional skills and knowledge on how to prepare
themselves to get ready in the career path that they’re pursuing into, and be competitive
enough in their field industry. They can also use it to have an additional knowledge will
benefit for their own development, achieve goals the opportunity in achieving and
improving their lives. This will serve as an instrument to achieve students’ goals.
Develop the life skills of the student interns, including the relevant values of
professionalism and work appreciation.
Specialized Industrial Training: A challenge in Covid-1 Pandemic will serve the
inspiration and motivation to strive and it will give them a better future of each BTVTE
student as they acquire the training and provide students with an opportunity to
complement their formal learning with practical knowledge, skills and desirable attitudes
