Conditions in which policy claims can be rejected:

1. Policy Exclusions: Insurance policies typically come with a list of exclusions, which are specific
situations or events not covered by the policy. If the claim falls under one of these excluded items, it will
likely be rejected. (Means insurance policy covers only stocks or material present in the company and
insured is claiming for te stocks as well as the building then the building cost will not be paid by the
insurance company. Also if the stocks is expired and then insured is claiming then also claims is rejected
by the insurance company)

Vehicle insurance policies often have specific exclusions that outline what types of damage or losses are
not covered. Common exclusions include intentional acts, racing, using the vehicle for illegal activities,
and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If the cause of the claim falls under one of these
exclusions, the insurance company may reject your claim

2. Failure to meet policy conditions: Insurance policies often have certain conditions that must be met
for a claim to be valid. For example, you may be required to notify the insurance company promptly
after the incident or provide specific documentation. If you fail to meet these conditions, your claim
could be denied.

3. Underinsurance or inadequate coverage: If your property is insured for an amount significantly lower
than its actual value, the insurance company may deny your claim or only provide partial coverage.
(Means you have a three floor building and insurance policy cover only 1st and 2nd floor and the fire
occurred in 2nd and 3rd floor then only for 2nd floor claim amount will be paid by insurance company)

4. Non-payment of premiums: If you fail to pay your insurance premiums on time, your coverage may
lapse, and the insurance company will likely reject any claims filed during that period of non-payment.
( If you policy renewal date is March 2023 and you didn't renew the policy and the fire incident occurred
in April 2023 then also claim will be rejected by company)

5. Misrepresentation or fraud: In case of intentionally settings the fire to gain the insurance amount.

Unauthorized or unlicensed driver: If the person driving your vehicle at the time of the incident is not
authorized or doesn't have a valid driver's license, your claim may be rejected. Insurance policies
generally require that only licensed and authorized drivers operate the insured vehicle.

6. Gradual damage or wear and tear: Property insurance typically covers sudden and accidental damage,
not damage that occurs gradually over time or is a result of regular wear and tear. If the damage is
deemed to be a result of long-term deterioration rather than a covered event, the claim may be
rejected. (If the insured is not maintaining the building or the machines properly and he is not doing the
maintenance on the regular basis then claim may be rejected or claim amount may be reduced by the
insurance company)

Vehicle insurance typically covers sudden and accidental damage, not damage that occurs gradually over
time or is a result of regular wear and tear. Claims related to mechanical breakdown or maintenance
issues are usually not covered.
Further Lack of evidence or documentation: Insufficient evidence or documentation to support your
claim can result in rejection.
