PERFORMANCE You are an advocator of Women’s rights in your barangay that will create an infographics about
TASK empowering women, this will be displayed in the gymnasium on Women’s Day participated by the women in
the community. Your infographics will be evaluated by the Chairman based on Design, Content, Clarity and
Representation.

D. PRESENTATION
a. Activity (Think Pair Share)
Each partner will share his/her media habits or activities online.
After 3 minutes the chosen groups will share their answers to the class.
b. Analysis (Philip 844)
- Each group will be given a question, share ideas to the group and present it after 4minutes.

Group 1 – Give examples of economic and educational impact of media and

Group 2 – Give examples of social and political impact of media and
information.
Group 3 – Cite examples of media and information that changes your

Group 4 – Research one contemporary social issue that greatly impacted the
youth of today.

Economic and Educational Impact


*Media and information magnify the conversation (or buzz) that surrounds businesses brand. They become
the forefront of business people’s mind; many considered it mostly to be a cost-effective method of
spreading the word about your brand because of the leanness of their budgets.
*Media and information ubiquity like online digital video has become a compelling tool for educational
representation. Students use it in their projects; teachers and pre-service teachers use it to study pedagogy;
and, researchers use it for capturing and examining how learning happens, as they unfold.

Social and Political Impact


Media and information is used as an empowering tool that facilitates the active participation of citizens in
the political process of contemporary societies. These include the participation of young people in the
process of media production and self-expression, initiatives that develop citizenship education through
team work and the collaboration with others in the creative process.
