 A bitter reality:
Communal riots are a bitter reality in West Bengal, no matter what the Local
Media or the Government Of West Bengal tries to portray. There are minor
communal squabbles almost every hour somewhere in Bengal and these
squabbles snow ball into full-fledged communal riots often. Recent incidents in
Kaliachak, Malda, Illambazar, Birbhum and Dhulagarh in Howrah district
respectively have once again exposed and shattered the myth of communal
harmony in Bengal.
Communal History of West Bengal:
West Bengal was created on the basis of Religious communal divide - West
Bengal was created by negotiating about 35% area from erstwhile United Bengal
as a safe sanctuary for the Hindus of Bengal after widespread systemic ethnic
violence and pogroms against Hindus in Bengal by Islamic governments between
1940 and 1947. After the Direct Action Day, Calcutta Killings of Hindus and
Noakhali Riots in 1946 it became evident that Hindus were not safe under Islamic
regimes in Bengal. West Bengal was created by efforts under the leadership of
great visionary statesman Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee to provide a safe
homeland for Hindus of Bengal. West Bengal has a long history of communal
violence particularly in the districts bordering Bangladesh which have a higher
concentration of Muslims. Between the 80's and 90's there has been a
demographic disturbance in the Malda, Nadia, North and South 24 Parganas
region due to unchecked infiltration of Muslims from Bangladesh. There have
been Islamic riots or unrest in West Bengal like February 2013 - Canning Riots
where about 200 poor, scheduled caste Hindu's homes were burnt by Islamic
mobs and more than 700 people rendered homeless in the severe cold of winter.
There had been similar riots by marauding Islamic mobs in Deganga in 2010
(another sensitive place near the Bangladesh Border infested with criminals and
Bangladeshi infiltrators) where the Military had to be pressed into action.
Political Compulsions of Pseudo Secular Political Parties
The political scenario of Bengal changed after the untimely death of Dr. SP
Mookherjee in 1953 under questionable circumstances, which many people
believe to be a political murder.
Once known for its fierce Nationalist nature, West Bengal experienced a sudden
void in the Nationalist space due to the disappearance of Netaji Subhash Bose
and untimely death of Dr SP Mookherjee. Eventually the political space in Bengal
was hijacked by opportunist Congress and Anti National Communists.

 Successive leftist and left of center political parties have remained in power in
West Bengal, who have a liberal view of the issue of infiltration. One Left front
Leader had in the past infamously said – “Du dikeri to bhasha Bangla beda
diye ki hobe?” (On the both sides of the border the language is Bengali so what
is the use of a fence?) Giving such lame excuses the Anti National communists
avoided a complete fencing of the Indo – Bangladesh border. How can one be so
naïve? Bangladesh and Bharat (India) are two different nations. Bangladesh
Muslim infiltration was effectively favored by the erstwhile Leftist - Communist
regime led by the CPI(M). Past governments have been accused of providing
citizenship documents to illegal Muslim infiltrators from Bangladesh. These
infiltrators have been used as vote banks by the left leaning and centrist political
parties across the spectrum in West Bengal. Several Bangaldeshi nationals have
been apprehended by Indian agencies and continue to be caught often for
infiltration or entering Indian territory without valid documents, not only from the
bordering villages but also from far off places like Bengaluru, Mumbai,
Chandigarh, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and so on.

Recently there have been reports in print as well as electronic media about ruling
party politicians in West Bengal having links with terrorist organizations, money
laundering rackets, counterfeit currency note and cattle smugglers. The present
TMC government led by Mamata Banerjee sings paeans of communal harmony
in Bengal which actually does not exist.
The Hindus have to bear the brunt of each communal riot, because the present
Government uses its entire administrative machinery to dilute the allegations
against the Muslim community for its vote bank compulsions, while Hindus and
other communities protesting against riots, vandalism and arson are often
booked by police and local administration on false cases and left to rot in lockup.

 Future – A demographic imbalance and its consequences.

The above data is from 2001 census, 2011 census is still alarming. Days are not
far when there might be an attempt to create a Kashmir like situation in Bengal
too. Already Anti Bharat slogans have been heard in many places in Bengal.

Apprehensions/Threats
 Some bordering districts may show strong secessionist movements
funded by Pan Islamic Jihadi outfits, influence by ISIS, drug cartels,
cattle smuggling gangs.

  There may be a serious subversion of state machinery in West
Bengal, as result of which West Bengal might turn into a disputed
territory which can be detrimental to the sovereignty of Bharat.
 Hindu people may be forced to migrate to other parts of Bharat for
lack of security and hostile environment.
Role of Local Media:
 Most major electronic Local media ABP, 24-Ghanta do not report communal
violence incidents, more so if the Hindus are victims.
 They make a huge issues of incidents like Dadri but are completely silent on
murders of Hindu businessmen over communal issues by Muslims in Falta or
Shantipur, Nadia.
 Recently during Malda riots concerned, pro-nationalists citizens had called up
Anandabazar patrika office to enquire why Malda incidents were not being
reported on their channel. They said – “It is against our company policy” and
hung up the phone. This Anandabazar partika is the same newspaper which
supports those who raised Anti – India slogans in JNU and Jadavpur
University, due to their political inclination towards Congress and
Communists.
Future of West Bengal:
 With the drastic change in demography there is serious risk to National
security, due to communal incidents, Islamic hooliganism and growing clout of
Jihadis and ISIS supporters being ignored by so called secular political
parties of West Bengal.
 Bengal may face a situation where, Hindus may have to leave West Bengal
due to attacks by Islamists and a hostile administration due to the vote bank
politics of ruling party.
 A mass exodus from Bengal to other parts may lead to an imbalance in the
entire country.
 Secessionist forces are gaining ground and Bengal may become the next
Kashmir.
 Development, will not be possible till Anti Hindu communal disturbances in
West Bengal are not stopped with immediate effect.
 Presence of Naxalo – Jihadi groups in the Jadavpur University also
aggravates the situation. A small or low intensity manifestation of Naxalo –
Jihadi activity was observed in Bhangor, S-24 Parganas with Naxal elements
instigating Jihadi mobs to attack and destroy an electric substation belonging

gutted. Loss – cash and materials worth 1 Crore
rupees. State minister (TMC) Ghiyasuddin Mollah
stopped police to act.
July 2008 West Bengal Hindu Monk of Ramkrishna Mission Assaulted
Ruthlessly in West Bengal
9 July, North, Amta, Howrah 22 Hindus including 16 women severely beaten up by
2009 Muslims. Women were badly injured and molested.
Inhuman torture on aged woman – dragged on
ground. Ornaments looted. Pretext: dispute over a
lawful Kali temple in the village.

 10 July Jhaubona, Nowda, Dispute on offering Namaz inside Jhaubona High
2009 Murshidabad School. 2 Hindus and 1 Muslim killed. All Hindu
shops at Trimohini market had been looted and
burnt. All 25 Hindu houses of Darapara village (a
part of Jhaubona) have been looted and burnt.
14 July, Dalanghata, Diamond Molestation of a Hindu girl by a Muslim boy at
2009 Harbour, S - 24 the time of Rathyatra festival. The girl slapped
Pargana the Muslim boy. A large Muslim mob looted and
damaged many Hindu shops and few Hindu
houses. 2 Hindu temples damaged. 50 buses and
vehicles including few police vehicles burnt.
6–8 Deganga Hindu Shops looted, homes burnt, Hindu temples
September were also desecrated. Dispute over a lawful Durga
2010 temple and a Muslim burial ground. 200 Hindu
shops and 50 Hindu houses were looted, burnt. 5
Hindu temples desecrated. Main instigator – Haji
Nurul Islam, the then TMC MP of Basirhat.

14 May, Taranagar and To retaliate the murder of a SUCI Muslim leader,
2012 Roopnagar villages Large scale violence by the Muslims. They fully
Joynagar, S - 24 looted and gutted to ash about 100 Hindu houses
Pargana of these 2 villages.
February Canning riots 200 Homes of Hindu Dalits torched, 700+ people
2013 rendered homeless, temples desecrated. 200 truck
load of Muslims from distant Kolkata and other
places attacked these 4 villages. Ravaged, looted,
and gutted the Hindu houses and establishments.
Police was meek spectators. In fact, the rioters
took Diesel from the police jeeps to burn the

in ceremony of Narendra Modi. 26 persons
including one police official were received bullet
wound. 13 were treated at local Khulna health
centre and 13 were taken to Kolkata SSKM
Hospital with serious injury. Main instigator –
Shajahan Saikh, TMC elected Gram Panchayat
Upa-Pradhan.
May 2014 Raghunathganj, Description – 11 year old Hindu girl has been
Murshidabad gang raped by Motahar Seikh, Bapan Seikh and
Pande Seikh, all residents of Bahadidanga village.
May 2014 Sarberia, Natun Bazar, One ST youth Dulal Sardar of Golbunia village and
Sandeshkhali 4 policemen were severely beaten up by the
goons of Shajahan Seikh when returning from
Police Station escorted by police.
May 2014 Dattapara, Rape of a newlywed Hindu woman Lakshmi
Swarupnagar,- N-24 Biswas (20 yr) by Baharuddin & Saiful. Her

husband works in Dubai. Now he is reluctant to

January Usthi Massive attack on Hindus went on at several places
2015 under Usthi PS, Mandirbazar PS & Diamond Harbour
PS in West Bengal since (28/01/15) night. Hindus are
under attack from organised Muslim mobs in Usthi
Bazar, Kuleshwar, Deyarak, Nainan, Deaula,
Gholar more, Bholerhat, Mandir Bazar, Hatugunj,and
other adjacent areas. Minister in-charge of Minority
Affairs Giyasuddin Mollah allegedly led the anti-Hindu
mayhem. Muslims were instigated and asked to join

 18th Gole Bazar, Karagpur A 17 year old minor Hindu Dalit boy to Rohit Tanti was
September bludgeoned to death by drunk Muslim youth over a trivial
2016 matter in the late evening of 18th September 2016. The Jihadi
attackers cried – “Hindu Madar@#$%” “Pakistan Zindabad”
according the account of locals at Gole Bazar Kharagpur.

Cusp Of Various Places: The intervening evening of Dussehra and Muharram in 2016
Dussehra Hajinagar N-24 saw wide spread Anti Hindu riots by Jihadis across West
– Parganas, Chandan Bengal. There were medium scale riots at 15 places and smaller
Muharram Nagar Hooghly, skirmishes at about 100’s of other places ranging from
11 – 13 Sankrail, Howrah Rural squabbles, fist fights, knifing, Bombing on Temples,
October and several other Desecration and vandalizing of Temples or Durga Pratima to
2016 places. Molestation of Hindu girls / women.

December Dhulagarh, Howrah

2016 Rural 100 Houses of Hindus completely burnt. Property
worth crores of Rupees destroyed. Interesting thing is
Secular Hindus belonging to Ruling TMC were also
attacked and in fact a Hindu TMC Panchayat
member’s house was completely vandalized and set
to fire by Jihadi Mobs. False cases were filed on
Hindus to pressurize them prevent them from filing
cases.

 The Gole Bazar – Kharagpur Episode: Dalit Minor boy Bludgeoned to death
by Jihadis but #Presstitutes won’t shed a tear!

On the late evening of 18th September 2016, at about 9:30 PM, Rohit Tanti (Hindu, Khatick caste
which is a backward or dalit caste) was returning home when he was waylaid by 4 – 5 Muslim
boys. Rohit was beaten mercilessly with iron rods and bamboo sticks as a result of which he
sustained severe internal injuries and fell on the ground. It was alleged that while beating up
Rohit, the attackers were shouting “Pakistan Zindabad”, “Allah Hu Akbar” and “Hindu
Madar@@#$”. This incident happened in the Gole Bazar area under Kharagpur Sadar Assembly
Constituency of West Bengal. Some local practicing Hindu boys took him to hospital where he
was declared brought dead. It is noteworthy that when Rohit was being beaten up by the
Muslims some senior people aged between 45 – 60 were present there at the scene but
because they were secular and mostly communist minded they never intervened to stop or
apprehend the Muslim attackers.

Later as the news of the death spread in the area, local residents and the Hindu community was
angry. Particularly the inconsolable parents of the boy, wanted to know why senior communist
minded secular uncles did not try save Rohit? By 11:40 PM entire area was a battle field, there
was a power cut in the area, which is suspected to have been done by the Local TMC secular
politicians to put the Hindus community in a disadvantaged position. By midnight however
Hindu youths irrespective of political inclination had united and gathered for a counter attack in
case the Muslims attacked the Hindus further. There was heavy police presence too. Police was
stopping the Hindu community members from going out of the Gole Bazar area. By next dawn
all Hindus under different Akharas (Hindu Sanatani Clubs / gymnasium committees) had united.
3 shops belonging to the skull cap wearing Anti National, Pakistan supporters were gutted in
fire. Till evening, 7 shops belonging to supporters of Pakistan were burnt down by an irate
crowd.

It is important to add that Kharagpur Sadar, assembly was won by BJP in the recently held
Legislative Assembly elections of 2016 in West Bengal. Sri Dilip Ghosh, an Ex-Pracharak of the
Sangh and a staunch Hindu wrested the seat from “Chacha” Gyan Singh Sohanpal of the
Congress who was once the speaker of West Bengal Assembly. Chahca Gyan Singh is himself a
respected and clean person though.

BJP Yuva Morcha leader Sri Arnab Mitra Said – “It is very unfortunate that a youth lost his life in
such a way. An elder son of the household, Rohit had dreams but those dreams of his family
have been brutally extinguished by criminals. There is deterioration of law and order in West
Bengal due to the Muslim appeasement policies of the TMC government. Majority crimes are
being committed by members of one particular community. Is there something wrong with the
community or something wrong in the way how pseudo secular political parties deal with
people?”

BJP State General Secretary, Ms Debashree Chaudhury reached Kharagpur and met some
community members. However police did not allow her to go to the cremation ground or meet

 the family members of the deceased. Then she went to meet the Additional SP of Medinipur
District who made her wait for more than an hour and fled through the back door without
meeting her. Later when Ms Debashree Chaudhary went to meet the SP, the SP refused to meet
the BJP delegation. BJP leaders, karyakartas resorted to a road blockade and were arrested.

Local MLA Sri, Dilip Ghosh, BJP was out of station when this incident occurred. He had recently
been an invitee speaker at a World Hindu Conference held in USA to commemorate Swami
Vivekananda’s Chicago speech.

It is not a simple case of fighting between youth or some kind of robbery. This incident is one of
the several incidents which are carried out in different parts of West Bengal as a part of
orchestrated Jihad against Hindu community and Ghazwa E Hind. It is also to be noted that all
political parties like Sickular Anti National Congress, TMC and Anti National communists are
trying to cover up the incident and were putting pressure on Rohit Tanti’s family to settle the
matter as a case of accident or suicide. Only the BJP was in favor of a proper investigation, arrest
and trial of culprits.

Police has been a failure in this case too, as has been always observed. Police is West Bengal has
become a slave of the ruling TMC and hardly has any power to arrest anyone from the Muslim
community unless given a go ahead by the ruling TMC. Even after 30 hours of the incident none
of the culprits have been arrested. Police has only imposed section 144 in and around Gole
Bazar to confine the Hindus within the area while Muslims in other areas are meeting in Masjids
and planning more attacks on the Hindu community as part of the instructions on Ghazwa E
Hind, received from ISI, Pakistan. Police in West Bengal offers protection to Jihadis and Anti
Nationals is a well-known fact. Recently West Bengal police offered protection to Anti National
and separatist supporter Kanhaiyya Kumar when he came to Kolkata on 8th September, but
arrested Nationalists and BJP workers who were protesting against Kanhaiyya Kumar in Kolkata.

Hindus in West Bengal feel pushed to the wall, this could have serious repercussions. After the
attack on Army Base at Uri on 18th September 2016, early morning, many such Hindu – Muslim
skirmishes have ensued in different towns and villages across West Bengal. Some Muslim youth
have been seen triple riding bikes without helmets and with Pakistan flags in Muslim dominated
areas, flouting traffic rules.
