Selection investigation and Analysis

THE J.P. MORGAN CHASE bank was founded by MORGAN CHASE. It is located in
CRANBORNE, HARARE. The bank was founded in 2008 first by Chase Morgan who was a
bank manager for 3 years at another local bank and decided to start his own bank due over
populated and overcrowded banks also to boost societal welfare.
The bank served a population of 200 people however due to adequate and satisfactory
services they offer this population served keeps on increasing and are gaining a greater
market share. The current population served is 700. This in turn needs a better system to
operate as they use a manual system of banking where they record information, transactions
and any other dealings in books and records which are there later stored in card board boxes
at the home of the owner.

Some of the activities include:

Account transfers
The bank also provides with account transfers, where a user wants to transfer money to
another account its possible but usually this service is provided or people who both have a
Morgan chase account.
Registration of accounts
The bank has a registration o accounts which a user might find useful to them which are the
personal accounts but due to their new market share they are trying to find businesses to
register or business accounts however due to lack of a much secure system it’s been hard for
them to find them. These accounts are used to store the money of the customers.
Loans
The bank provides both short term and long term loans but of very small amounts.
They also offer an extensive variety of financial services which may also include assets
management.

The J.P. MORGAN CHASE bank has faced a problem of a manual system that is currently being
used. The problem is the manual system which is vulnerable and distorts the services as well.

 Poor document storage as it is vulnerable to theft, wear and tear.

 Poor credit risk facilitation as some documents might get lost.
 Long waiting lines for customers to be served.
