Starbucks is planning to close up to 400 owned locations in next 18 months.

It simultaneously plans to expand “convenience-led formats" such as curbside pickup,
drive-thru and mobile-only pickup locations.
This huge change is due to this pandemic, as the customer behavior has changed and
company has planned to shift to “to go” model instead of its regular location.
