LOW COST MINI HUMANOID ROBOTICS CHALLENGE
I. DESCRIPTION
A humanoid robot is a robot that simulates the shape and movement of a human being. A mini
humanoid robot is a reduced-scale version that can interact with tools or its environment, whose
main characteristic is its bipedal walk.
II. CONTEXT
In a few years, robots will cover various areas, including the delivery sector. Humanoid robots
will be part of the delivery and collection of packages at home that allow a timely and reliable
delivery.
III. TARGET
Build and program a mini humanoid robot that delivers and collects packages under specific
criteria.
LEVEL I
The stage considers any flat surface; it will have two pillars at the starting point and at the
endpoint, which will reference the time it takes for the mini-human robot to go from one point
to another. At all times of the test, the stage must have a rule or winch that ensures that the
distance is 60cm. Fig. 01.

LEVEL II
A flat surface. The green areas represent the place where the robot will pick up a box or
deliver a package by depositing it in that place (Images 2, 3, and 5). Images 1, 4 will help the
robot turn and continue on its way. The stage has five zones, where the robot will have to
go through each of them if it wants to accumulate a score. Fig. 02.
In Figure 03, you can see the representation of the mini humanoid in the starting area; the cart
can have a ramp so that when moving, it takes the box located in area 2 and, based on image 1,
turn 90º to the right to go to zone 3.

LEVEL II
The mini humanoid robot starts from the start zone, moves to zone 2, takes the box, and
recognizes the image with the camera turning 90º to its right. Then, it moves to zone 3, in the
same way, making use of its camera, it turns 90º to its left and moves to the final zone, the time
until the robot is entirely within zone 4 is considered. It passes through each area, picks up the
box, and uses the camera to make the turns.

I. DESCRIPCIÓN
