Writing

In many nations, there is growing worry over the lack of newspaper

reading and television news viewing among young people. Because of this,
the youth in these nations are not informed about, or particularly worried
about, local, national, and international issues.

The fact that the majority of newspapers and news programs are
produced for an adult audience and are not presented in a manner that
appeals to teenagers is one of the main contributors to this issue. As a result
of the language being too challenging and the subject typically being rather
somber, few young people read newspapers. The fact that young people are
enthralled by cutting-edge technology, including computers and the Internet,
contributes to the lack of interest in news. Traditional news forms, which are
regarded as boring and outmoded, are less popular as a result.

There are certain tactics that can be employed to motivate young

people to follow news stories. The first is to have news organizations present
the news in ways that young people find appealing. The simplest approach
to accomplish this would be to display news on websites intended for a
younger readership. Getting schools involved in the production of regular
school newspapers is another strategy for dealing with the issue. Although
schools should also urge students to be active in the authoring of articles
and submissions, recent local, national, and international news events could
be incorporated. All of the students may then receive this newspaper,
increasing the number of children who routinely read the news.

By providing the news in formats that appeal to them, we can increase

the low rates of young people reading newspapers and watching the news on
television. The secret is to make use of websites and have schools produce
their own newspapers that students are participating in.
